The second-generation tuning chip for your Yamaha electric bike.
SpeedBox 2.0 for Yamaha removes the speed limiter from your electric bike. Once the SpeedBox is installed, actual data such as current speed, maximum speed, average speed, mileage and range are displayed on the screen.
How does SpeedBox 2.0 work?
You need to activate SpeedBox 2.0 at the controls of your electric bike by pressing the LIGHT button.
Pressing this button briefly displays the speed of 9.9 km/h (6.1 mph) on the screen. From then on, you can ride at any speed - 40 km/h, 50 km/h and even over 60 km/h. You can deactivate the SpeedBox by pressing the LIGHT button again. This reactivates the 25 km/h speed limit. The electric bike then operates in the same way as it did before the unboxing kit was installed.
We've also thought about bikes that aren't equipped with the classic lights button control. In these cases, simply press the arrow buttons ↑ ↓ ↑ ↓ and the SpeedBox will be activated. To deactivate the SpeedBox, press the arrow buttons in the same way.
Using this combination of arrows, it is possible to adjust the SpeedBox and lights independently.
