Yes, you can come to the store regardless of the make and model (electric or muscular).
If you still have a warranty on the bike, please bring the invoice with you so that we can enforce the warranty if it falls within the manufacturer's legal framework.
All products sold on our website carry a 24-month warranty unless otherwise stated in the product description.
The customer's warranty claim is satisfied at EBZ's discretion by repair of the item, delivery of an equivalent defect-free replacement item, reduction of the price or cancellation of the contract (rescission). Repairs are carried out by EBZ or by repair shops appointed by EBZ. The customer is not entitled to entrust repairs to third parties. In such cases, the customer is not entitled to reimbursement of repair costs. The customer's warranty rights lapse in the event of technical intervention and defects resulting from improper handling, excessive stress, inappropriate use, external intervention (moisture damage, contact with liquids, blows, etc.) or failure to observe the manufacturer's operating and maintenance instructions.
The best solution is to open a customer account using the same e-mail address as your order, and you'll have a summary of all your orders and you can download the invoice in PDF format.
The other possibility is at the bottom of each e-mail from your order there's a link allowing you to download the invoice.
The goods are delivered from our warehouse in Prilly, so you don't have to pay for postage, customs duties, etc.
Please note: all equipment purchased without being mounted on the bike, whether it's a kit, lighting, etc., must be dismantled by you in order to be repaired, whether it's under warranty or not. If the equipment was mounted in our workshop, we'll take care of dismantling it.

Autonomy is very difficult to measure, as it depends on many different parameters, such as engine power, weight of bike, rider and luggage. Differences in altitude also play an important role. In our tests, we found that with the 500w kit and an average towed weight of 110kg (bike, rider, luggage included), we could cover between 50 and 60 km on a route with 1000m of positive and negative gradients.
In Switzerland, the law authorizes you to ride a converted bike without registration (yellow moped plate) up to 500w motor power, and 25km/h assistance (this does not concern the authorized limit at which you can ride, you must respect the law on road traffic in all cases).
If you exceed the assistance limit of 25km/h or 500w motor power, you can only use your bike on private property.
If you wish to ride your bike on a public road with a motor exceeding 500w or 25km/h, you must have your bike inspected by the motor vehicle department of your canton of residence. Before making such a purchase, please contact the motor vehicle department of your canton of residence for further information.
Here you'll find a list of permitted regulations for electric bicycles.

All our kits are guaranteed for 24 months from the date of purchase, including manufacturing defects. Standard wear and tear, assembly errors and poor maintenance are excluded from the guarantee.
Subsidies are provided by the commune in which you live. Each commune has its own criteria, so it's advisable to check with the commune in question to obtain the subsidy.
For information, the communes that subsidize soft mobility through the purchase of a bicycle, in principle subsidize the purchase of a kit, provided it is bought and paid for in Switzerland.
All kits are in stock and available immediately either from our warehouse in Prilly or from our supplier, who can deliver within the timeframe indicated on each kit variant.
No, unfortunately we can't give a warranty on motors or batteries that don't come from us, as we all have very different import conditions depending on volumes, prices, etc.
We can repair it for you after a quotation and will be invoiced.
- The motor does not require any special maintenance, and there is no need to open it for servicing unless expressly requested to do so by our technical department. Any opening of the motor without our consent will result in the immediate loss of the warranty
- The battery must be charged regularly, especially when the bike is not used for an extended period (winter, for example). At least once a month, charge the battery for a minimum of 2 to 3 hours.
If the battery is left without charge for a prolonged period, the battery may be ruined, and the warranty will also be lost if, after inspection, it is found to be the result of a slow, prolonged discharge.
Here are some things that can help you pinpoint the fault:
1. Is my battery charged?
2. Are all the connectors properly plugged in?
If, despite these checks, they don't light up, please contact us so that we can help you as soon as possible.
A frequent error code that you can probably eliminate yourself is 21, which concerns the speed sensor. Check that the magnet passes in front of the sensor.
Yes, you can go to our store in Prilly. However, if the store did not assemble your kit, and the repair requires disassembly, the customer will have to pay for this. If we have assembled your kit, we'll take care of everything as part of the service you paid for when you entrusted your bike to us.
