The customer's warranty claim is satisfied at EBZ's discretion by repairing the item, delivering a replacement item that is equivalent and free of defects, reducing the price or cancelling the contract (rescission). Repairs are carried out by EBZ or by repair shops commissioned by EBZ. The customer is not entitled to entrust the repair to third parties. In this case, the customer is not entitled to reimbursement of the repair costs. The customer's warranty claim expires in the event of technical intervention and defects resulting from improper handling, excessive stress, improper use, external intervention (moisture damage, contact with liquids, blows, etc.) or failure to observe the manufacturer's operating and maintenance instructions.
The best solution is to open a customer account using the same email address as your order and you will have a summary of all your orders and you can download the invoice in PDF format.

Autonomy is very difficult to measure, as it depends on many different parameters, such as engine power, weight of the bike, rider, and luggage. The difference in altitude also plays an important role. According to our tests we found that with the 500w kit and an average towed weight of 110kg (bike, rider, luggage included) we can ride about 50 to 60km on a route with 1000m of positive and negative gradient.
In Switzerland the legislation allows you to ride a converted bike without registration (yellow moped plate) up to 500w of engine power, and 25km/h of assistance (this does not concern the limit at which you can ride, you must respect the road traffic law in all cases)
If you exceed the assistance limit of 25km/h or 500w of engine power you can only use your bike on private property.
If you wish to ride on public roads with a motor of more than 500w or 25km/h, you must have your bike inspected by the motor vehicle department of your canton of residence. Before making such a purchase, please contact the motor vehicle department of your canton of residence for information.
Here you will find a list of the permitted regulations for electric bicycles.

All our kits are guaranteed for 24 months from the date of purchase, including manufacturing defects. Standard wear and tear, assembly errors and poor maintenance are excluded from the guarantee.
The subsidies are provided by the municipality where you live. Each municipality has its own criteria, so it is advisable to contact the municipality to obtain the subsidies.
For information, the communes that subsidise soft mobility by the purchase of a bicycle, in principle subsidise the purchase of a kit as long as it is bought and paid for in Switzerland.
All kits are in stock and available immediately either from our stock in Prilly or from our supplier who can deliver within a timeframe as noted on each kit variant.
No, unfortunately we can't give a guarantee on motors or batteries that don't come from us, as we all have very different import conditions depending on volumes, prices, etc.
We can repair it for you after a quote and will be charged
- The motor does not require any special maintenance, there is no need to open it for maintenance if you are not expressly asked to do so by our technical service. Any opening of the motor without our consent will result in the loss of the warranty immediately
- The battery must be charged regularly, especially when the bike is not used for a prolonged period of time (e.g. in winter).
If the battery is left uncharged for a long period of time, the battery can be ruined, the warranty will also be lost if after inspection it is found that it is due to a slow and prolonged discharge.
Here are the elements that can help you to target the fault:
1. Is my battery charged?
2. Are all the connectors properly plugged in?
If they do not light up, please contact us and we will help you as soon as possible
A frequent error code that you can probably eliminate yourself is 21, it is the speed sensor, check that the magnet passes in front of the sensor, for all other error codes please contact us
Yes you can go to our shop in Prilly, however if the shop did not take care of the assembly of your kit, and the repair requires disassembly the costs are at the customer's expense.
