FAQ Electrical kits
Here you can find general questions about our electric kits.
It's important to measure your box to check compatibility and refer to the table below. If in doubt, send us a message and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Bottom bracket width | Accessory required: |

Autonomy is very difficult to measure, as it depends on many different parameters, such as motor power, the weight of the bike, rider and luggage.
Differences in altitude also play a fairly important role.
According to our tests, with the 500w kit and an average towed weight of 110kg (bike, rider and luggage included), we covered around 50 to 60 km on a route with 1000m of positive and negative gradients.
In Switzerland, the law authorizes you to ride a converted bike without registration (yellow moped plate) up to 500w motor power, and 25km/h assistance (this does not concern the authorized limit at which you can ride, you must respect the law on road traffic in all cases).
If you exceed the assistance limit of 25km/h or 500w motor power, you can only use your bike on private property.
If you wish to ride your bike on a public road with a motor exceeding 500w or 25km/h, you must have your bike inspected by the motor vehicle department of your canton of residence. Before making such a purchase, please contact the motor vehicle department of your canton of residence for further information.
Here you'll find a list of permitted regulations for electric bicycles.

All our kits are guaranteed for 24 months from the date of purchase, including manufacturing defects.
Standard wear and tear, assembly errors and poor maintenance are excluded from the warranty.
Subsidies are provided by your commune of residence.
Each commune has its own criteria, so it's advisable to check with your commune to obtain such subsidies.
For information on communes that subsidize soft mobility through the purchase of a bicycle, in principle they subsidize the purchase of a kit as long as it is purchased and paid for in Switzerland.
All kits are in stock and available immediately either from our warehouse in Prilly or from our supplier, who can deliver within the timeframe indicated on each kit variant.
Assembly of the kit doesn't require a great deal of knowledge, but you can contact us for a quote for assembly at our workshop in Prilly or at one of our partners, depending on where you live.
- The motor does not require any special maintenance, and there is no need to open it for servicing unless expressly requested to do so by our technical department. Any opening of the motor without our consent will result in the immediate loss of the warranty
- The battery must be charged regularly, especially when the bike is not used for an extended period (winter, for example). At least once a month, charge the battery for a minimum of 2 to 3 hours.
If the battery is left without charge for a prolonged period, the battery may be ruined, and the warranty will also be lost if, after inspection, it is found to be the result of a slow, prolonged discharge.
Here are the elements that can help you pinpoint the fault:
1. Is my battery charged?
2. Are all the connectors properly plugged in?
If, despite these checks, they don't light up, please contact us so that we can help you as soon as possible.
Yes, you can go to our store in Prilly, but if the store didn't take care of assembling your kit, and the repair requires disassembly, the costs are borne by the customer. If we assembled your kit, we'll take care of everything as part of the service you paid for when you entrusted your bike to us.
