SpeedBox App
The third generation smart chip with the ability to set the speed limit of your electric bike.
The SpeedBox 3.0 kit allows you to select and set the speed limit as you wish. Once the SpeedBox is installed, actual data such as current speed, maximum speed, average speed, mileage and range are displayed on the screen.
How does the SpeedBox 3.0 work?
The SpeedBox 3.0 is activated on the control box of the electric bike. After pressing the WALK, the speed of 9.9 km/h (6,1 mph) will be displayed briefly on the screen. From this moment on you can ride at any speed - 40 km/h (25 mph), 50 km/h (30 mph), even more than 60 km/h (37 mph).
To deactivate the SpeedBox, press the WALK button again. The speed limit will be activated again. The electric bicycle works in the same way as before the installation of the chip.
We have also thought about the bikes that do not have the usual control box and where there is no WALK button. In these cases, simply press the arrow buttons in the following order: + - + - and the SpeedBox becomes active. In the same way you will deactivate the SpeedBox.
You can set the maximum speed by changing the mode: Turbo - EMTB - Tour - Eco - Tour - EMTB - Turbo. Then the current speed limit will be shown on the display. To change the maximum speed, briefly press the WALK button or turn the rear wheel 360°. Each turn of the wheel changes the maximum speed.
The displayed value of 1.5 km/h corresponds to the 15 km/h limit, 2.0 corresponds to the 20 km/h limit, 2.5 corresponds to 25 km/h, 3.0 corresponds to 30 km/h, 9.9 corresponds to 99 km/h, etc. The last limit displayed will be saved after 5 seconds of inactivity.
After you have completed the ride, you will see the time (in minutes) that you must leave the bike on. Leave the bike on until 0.0 km/h appears on the display. Just after that you can turn off the bike.
