The new SpeedBox B.Tuning brings a unique connection between your electric bike and your laptop. The SpeedBox B.Tuning kit can be adjusted up toto so that you can enjoy your outings to the full. Our tuning kit lets you deactivate the speed limit on your electric bike, so you can enjoy unlimited speed while riding your bike. Thanks to your SpeedBox App, you can view all the details of your activities on your cell phone and save them. Anytime, anywhere.

How does SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning work?

This untuning kit is also characterized by its ease of use. You can activate the SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning in your mobile app or on the console of your electric bike. By pressing the WALK button, the speed of 9.9 km/h (6.2 mph) is displayed on the control console. From then on, you can ride at any speed - 40 km/h, 50 km/h and even over 60 km/h.

You can deactivate the unlocking kit by pressing the WALK button again. In this case, a speed of 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph) will be displayed on the console, reactivating the speed limiter. The speed limiter then operates in the same way as before the debridging kit was installed.

We haven't forgotten bikes that don't have a WALK button. In this case, simply press the buttons: + - + - and the SpeedBox will be activated. You can easily deactivate the SpeedBox in the same way.

When the SpeedBox App is switched on for the first time,you will be prompted to enter a PIN code that you must define yourself. This PIN code must be used every time the SpeedBox App is started up. After entering the PIN, you'll be asked to set the service password, which you'll use in case you forget the PIN or wish to change it.

You can set the maximum speed by changing the mode: Turbo - EMTB - Tour - Eco - Tour - EMTB - Turbo. The display then shows the current speed limit. To change the maximum speed, briefly press the WALK button or turn the rear wheel 360°. Each turn of the wheel changes the maximum speed.
The displayed value of 1.5 km/h corresponds to the 15 km/h limit, 2.0 corresponds to the 20 km/h limit, 2.5 corresponds to 25 km/h, 3.0 corresponds to 30 km/h, 9.9 corresponds to 99 km/h, and so on. The last limit displayed will be saved after 5 seconds of inactivity.

After completing the ride, the display will show the time (in minutes) to leave the bike on. Leave the bike on until 0.0 km/h appears on the display. You can then switch off the bike.

We use the original connectors for SpeedBoxes. Thanks to this, installing the chip is very simple and easy. We've also prepared detailed instructions and videos so you can install the unboxing kit yourself. Uninstalling the unlocking kit is just as easy as installing it. If you have any problems coupling the unbridling kit to your bike, please don't hesitate to contact our team.

Before installing the SpeedBox on a brand-new electric bike, you need to travel at least 1 km before activating the SpeedBox.

Important information:

Connect the male-female connectors so that the white grooves face each other. Do not twist the connectors while plugging them in!

Please note that the use of bikes fitted with the unboxing kit may contravene current legislation in some countries. The manufacturer will not be held responsible for any damage caused by the use of SpeedBox products. Electric bicycles equipped with SpeedBox products may not be used on roads, cycle paths or in public spaces. Electric bicycles equipped with SpeedBox products may only be used on private property and under your own responsibility. By using SpeedBox products, you take the risk of losing the warranty on the electric bicycle.

We also recommend the use of other safety and protective equipment to avoid injury while riding.

Before updating the software on your electric bike, we recommend removing the SpeedBox:

1) Unplug the SpeedBox from the VAE

2) Update your software

3) Reinstall the SpeedBox

The SpeedBox App, a mobile application specially designed for the SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning kit, uses Bluetooth technology to pair your cell phone with your electric bike. Once you've downloaded the app and paired your cell phone with your electric bike, you'll be able to view all your cycling data and settings on your cell phone screen. You can save all your journeys and compare them with those of your friends. You can also see how your performance is progressing. You can make the most of your time with your electric bike and consult your ride data later.
