The new Lumos Ultra E-BIKE electric bike helmet is the world's first intelligent electric bike helmet. The new helmet builds on its predecessor, the Lumos Ultra bike helmet, and is certified to NTA-8776 for speeds of up to 45 km/h. It is equipped with a lighting system and an alarm system.
The Lumos Ultra E-Bike is equipped with a series of intelligent safety features that make cycling safer. These include integrated turn signals, which can be activated using a wireless remote control or a wave with the Apple Watch. By default, the new ULTRA helmet is equipped with integrated front and rear lighting for enhanced visibility. Now, two additional LEDs have been installed in the integrated face shield to extend visibility to 360 degrees.
Thanks to the improved lightweight Circuitry-on-Board (COB) construction technique, the helmet weighs just 490g. However, the lighting is brighter than on other Lumos models. The Ultra now boasts a battery life of over 10 hours. The helmet is recharged via a USB-C charging cable.
Lumos also offers an app for checking battery status, making adjustments to helmet settings, and integrated track recording.
It features a scratch-resistant face shield with integrated side lights that also act as front turn signals. The helmet features a new adjustment system with improved contours and feel.
