This reworked tuning kit, with entirely new hardware and firmware, is designed for your electric bike with a Shimano motor.

SpeedBox 1.3 completely eliminates the speed limit, and when using the kit, the current speed is displayed up to 23 km/h.

If you prefer to see the actual speed in the SpeedBox app throughout the ride, we recommend you purchase the SpeedBox 1.3 B.Tuning for Shimano. You can connect the SpeedBox 1.0 B.Tuning for Shimano to our SpeedBox App.

Compared with previous SpeedBoxes for Shimano, this product also plugs into the E-Tube port. It is therefore essential that the electric bike motor on which you want to install the new version of the SpeedBox has a free E-Tube Port. Without a free E-Tube Port, it is not possible to install the SpeedBox.

The E-Tube Port is usually not free when the bike is equipped with an automatic Di2 derailleur or when the start button is integrated into the bike frame - this is the Satellite System ON/OFF Switch (EW-SW100, EW-SW300).

How does SpeedBox 1.3 work?

When the lights are off, you can drive at unlimited speed. The chip can be easily deactivated by turning on the lights. If you want to use the lights independently of the SpeedBox, don't plug in the red fork - the SpeedBox will still be active. If you have no lights on your bike, SpeedBox 1.3 will always be on.

To make it easier to install the SpeedBox chip on your electric bike, we use special connectors in different colors. Thanks to this equipment, installing the chip is really very simple. We've also put together detailed instructions and videos so you can install the unboxing kit yourself. Uninstalling the unboxing kit is just as easy as installing it. If you have any problems connecting your unbridle kit to your bike, please don't hesitate to contact our team.

Important: Before installing the SpeedBox on a brand-new electric bike, you need to travel at least 1 km before activating the SpeedBox.

The SpeedBox App, designed for the SpeedBox 1.2 B.Tuning unboxing kit, uses Bluetooth technology to pair your cell phone with your electric bike. After downloading the app and as soon as your smartphone is paired with your electric bike, you'll see the current data and settings of your rides on your smartphone screen. You can save all rides and compare results with your friends, as well as track your performance and progress. Your ride data will be saved. Thanks to this, you can enjoy the ride to the full and leave the analysis of performance data for later.

Before ordering the SpeedBox 1.2 B.Tuning kit, download the demo version of the SpeedBox app onto your phone. You'll discover all the impressive features, and at the same time make sure the app is fully functional on your smartphone. To pair the SpeedBox 1.2 B.Tuning kit with your cell phone, the smartphone must be equipped with Bluetooth technology 4.0 or higher.
