THE SpeedBox 1.2 for Shimano is a tuning module dedicated to Shimano engines (E8000, E7000, E6100, E5000). It allows the classic assistance limitation to be removed, to fully exploit the power of the engine. The module displays actual speeds up to 23 km/h, then hides any limits (unlimited speed). It does not have Bluetooth connectivity or a dedicated application.
Activation or deactivation is done via the function lights (LIGHT) : When the lights are off, the module is activated. It is also possible to connect a wire to the “–” terminal to keep it permanently active, regardless of the state of the lights.
Installation is simplified thanks to original, solder-free connectors, with instructions and videos provided. It is recommended to travel approximately 10 km before activating tuning on a new bike.
A “+ E-Tube port” version is offered for engines where all E-Tube ports are already used (e.g. bikes with Di2, integrated satellite systems, or E5000 engines).
