HYP-E's equipment and functionality are entirely dedicated to the needs and lifestyles of urban commuters. By adopting a 365-degree approach, the helmet underlines their commitment to more sustainable mobility by bike all year round.

A distinctive lighting concept with rear, front and blinker lights, inspired by the automotive sector, ensures 360° visibility and signals the presence of cyclists on busy roads or in poor visibility conditions. The front and rear lights are integrated into the HYP-E's multi-cell design, underlining its premium look and feel. Thanks to a remote control for the handlebars, you can activate the flashing light, control it intuitively and signal any change of direction clearly and in advance.

All-weather comfort

Ventilation on the top of the head is regulated by a clever Vent system: if the weather changes, you can easily close the helmet's large vents with the VentCover. This solution is inspired by winter sports and aims to accompany commuters through all seasons.

More protection for electric bikes

The HYP-E also meets the strict standards of NTA 8776 - the world's first safety standard specifically designed for S-Pedelec riders. Helmets meeting the NTA standard are tested at much higher impact speeds, offer better protection at the back of the head and temples, and can absorb greater impact forces.

    Technical data

    • A 365-degree approach: 360-degree visibility and optimum protection 365 days a year, whatever the weather - that's what the HYP-E lighting concept and comfort features guarantee.
    • More visibility: the front light, rear light and turn signals make you visible in traffic. Choose from five different lighting modes for the front and rear lights: Steady, Power, Flow, Pulsing or Flashing - depending on light conditions and whether you want to save battery capacity.
    • Cable-free remote control: you can activate and control the flasher light easily and safely using the rechargeable radio remote control supplied for the handlebars. An audible signal on the helmet and LEDs on the remote control let you know when you're flashing.
    • Weatherproof design: in fine weather and summer, large vents provide pleasant ventilation. If it's raining or cold, you can close these openings with the VentCover on the top of the head.
    • A safe companion: in addition to CE and CPSC certification, the helmet meets the more demanding NTA 8776 standard for S-Pedelecs with stricter test criteria - thanks to lower temple and neck protection and thicker EPS material, it is suitable for bikes with electric motors and higher speeds.
    • Individual wearing comfort: with the height-adjustable Zoom Spin adjustment system, you can adapt the helmet to the shape of your head thanks to an adjustment knob on the back of the head, and make room for a braid. You can adjust the straps by tightening or loosening them with the FlapDivider below the ears.
    • Magnetic chin loop: you can open the chin strap with just one hand, thanks to the easy-to-handle magnetic fastener.
    • Rechargeable components: you can recharge the helmet lights and the remote control for the flashing lights with the included USB-C charging cable. LED indicators on the headset and remote control show you the charging status.
    • Simple operation: you can activate the front and rear lights using the on/off button on the back of the helmet. Press the button for about a second to switch on the lights. Then press briefly to switch from one lighting mode to the other. A long press turns the lights off again.
    • Reliable communication: the flasher and remote control communicate via a reliable 2.4 GHz radio signal, based on OXI® wireless technology. The remote control is permanently operational and is activated by a radio signal from the helmet.
