The Adult Electric Tricycle, like a bicycle, can't be forgotten, but like a bicycle, you have to learn first.
Before taking to the road, you'll need to learn how to ride the adult E-FATI tricycle.
Here's our advice!
First of all, bear in mind that your tricycle is perfectly stable on its wheels at low speed, so you can get on and off your Electric Tricycle without fear of tipping over and without having to put your foot down. So keep your feet firmly on the pedals when you start and stop, if you don't want the rear wheels to run over them!
Of course, when in operation, the tricycle will follow the shape of the road. If the road is on a slope, your tricycle will tend to go in the direction of the slope (you'll have to compensate and lean your body against the slope). Also, if one of the 2 rear wheels goes into a hole or over a bump, the tricycle will lean to one side or the other without endangering you, but the sensation, especially at first, can be disconcerting.
A word of advice: deflate the tire arr a 2 BAR That's why it's vital to learn to ride a tricycle and to do so in good conditions, on clear, level ground, without holes, bumps or obstacles.
Keep the following information in mind:
- Keep the brakes locked (parking position) when getting on or off the Electric Tricycle.
- If you have an electric tricycle, first learn to use it without assistance.
- When riding, look at the horizon, not the front wheel.
- Take turns slowly and don't turn the handlebars abruptly.
- Don't bend over to turn, but think about turning the handlebars in the desired direction.
- Learn at very low speeds to assimilate operation more easily.
- Keep away from the limits of the road and obstacles (rear wheel clearance 73cm).
- To turn left, bend your left arm and push with your right arm, and vice-versa to turn right
- Drive smoothly, steering and brakes are quite sensitive
- Don't tense up, stay supple and relaxed
- Do small learning sessions; there's no point in insisting too much at first.
That's all the advice you need, now it's up to you!
