The tuning kit with Bluetooth technology for electric bikes with the latest 4th generation Bosch motors and with Smart System.

The SpeedBox 1.0 B.Tuning offers the connection between the electric bike and the cell phone and allows you to remove the speed limiter from the electric bike.

When using the kit, the correct speed is shown on the display up to 22.2 km/h. Once 22.2 km/h are exceeded, the actual speed is shown in the last two digits on the display.

Example:

- 22.3 corresponds to a speed of 23 km/h

- 23.1 corresponds to a speed of 31 km/h

You can see the actual speed in the SpeedBox app, directly on your smartphone screen, throughout the drive.

How does the SpeedBox 1.0 B.Tuning work?

In order to activate all the functions of the SpeedBox correctly, it is necessary, after switching on the electric bicycle for the first time, to the first timeto enter the menu and display the wheel circumference of your electric bicycle.

Also this SpeedBox is easy to use. You can activate the SpeedBox 1.0 B.Tuning in the App or directly on the bike control by briefly switching on the WALK function (hold the "-" button). The value 9.9 km / h (6.2 mph) will briefly appear on the display of your electric bike and from that moment on you can ride at unlimited speed.

The SpeedBox1.0 can be deactivated in the same way - the WALK function must be switched on again (hold the "-" button). The 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph) will be shown on the display and the speed limit of 25 km/h will be reactivated. The electric bicycle will then operate in the same manner as before the kit was installed.

We have also thought about the bikes that have neither the WALK function available nor activated. In these cases you can activate/deactivate the SpeedBox by switching twice between two assistance modes in the following order: + - + -

When you launch the SpeedBox application for the first time, you will be asked to set a PIN code. You will need this PIN every time you start the SpeedBox application. After selecting the PIN, you will also be asked to set a service password, which you will use in case you forget the PIN or want to change it.

Important: To avoid tuning detection, do not remove the battery during the "countdown" process.

When you stop your electric bicycle, the "countdown" process will start and it will be finished when the correct distance is displayed.

The use of the bike is not limited by the "countdown timer" which can be interrupted by turning off or starting the bike.

SpeedBox App for SpeedBox B.Tuning

The SpeedBox App, a mobile application designed specifically for the SpeedBox B.Tuning kit, uses Bluetooth technology to pair your cell phone with your electric bike. Once you have downloaded the application and your cell phone has been paired with your electric bike, you will be able to consult on your cell phone screen the updated data and parameters of your bike trips. You can save all the trips you have made and compare them with those of your friends. You can also observe the evolution of your performance. You can enjoy your time with your electric bike and view your ride data later.

The SpeedBox B.Tuning chip can be used without the SpeedBox App. However, the SpeedBox App is a perfect accessory, thanks to which you will have complete information about your performance.

Download the SpeedBox App on your cell phone before ordering the SpeedBox B.Tuning. Try the trial version of the app, discover all the tips and tricks and check if the app works on your cell phone. In order to pair the SpeedBox B.Tuning with your cell phone, it must be equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 or higher.

We use the original connectors for the SpeedBoxes. Thanks to this, the installation of the chip is very simple and you will easily succeed. We have also prepared detailed instructions and videos, so that you can install the unboxing kit yourself. Uninstalling the unboxing kit is as easy as installing it. If you have any problems with the coupling of the unboxing kit with your bike, please do not hesitate to contact our team.

Before installing the SpeedBox on a brand new electric bicycle, you have to ride at least 1 km before activating the SpeedBox.

Important:

Connect the male and female connectors so that the white grooves face each other. Do not twist the connectors while plugging them in!
